The Christchurch FC charity fun run has been postponed until April next year in order to find more participants. The cross-country run was due to take place on the 11th June. Please get in contact if you are interested.
There will be a range of races during the day for different categories. The first race will commence at 10.30am with later races being staggered throughout the day.
There will be trophies awarded for the top three in each category. The presentation will commence at 6.30 in the eving at Hurn Bridge Sports Club. There will be refreshments available troughout the day.
Christchurch football club are striving to create a club which the youth element can be proud of. They believe that sport has a massive impact on youngsters in keeping them healthy, focused and disciplined, not just in the sport but in their growth into adulthood. As a club, Christchurch FC are looking forward to seeing more of their youth teams and increasing their involvement with first team football. Being part of a large club can only inspire them to go training and take care of the bodies and learn a respect for the community at large.
