.:. Foundation Helps Sponsor Amber to Mozambique .:.
The Steve Bernard Foundation is pleased to announce it's support for Amber Austin on her travels to Mozambique this september. Amber is to travel abroad for seven months to coach and work with impoverished children.
Amber has worked tireless to raise the £4000 necessary for the trip and all of us at the Steve Bernard Foundation were more than happy to top up the last £400 of the fund. Amber was presented with her cheque by Sue, Steve's mum at the Stand Naming ceremony on the 20th June.

Amber Austin will be going to Mozambique in September 2006 for seven months as a volunteer for the Oasis Trust, a well-established Christian charity running various projects in third world countries.
Amber will be teaching and caring for orphans at a residential centre, where the emphasis is on developing relationships and encouraging young people in their Christian faith. A large part of her work will involve organising sports activities for these children. She will also be involved with outreach programmes for homeless children and those living with HIV and AIDS.
